The nights are getting colder, but we have been extremely lucky to have such warm, sunny days. The apples are still ripening, and we have new varieties to share this weekend.
Spencer is a delicious beauty that is a cross between a McIntosh and a Golden Delicious. They are available for pick-your-own and in the farm store. We also still have Empire apple for picking as well.
We have kept the McIntosh and Cortland open, but primarily for drops. You can make excellent pies and sauce with drops. They are available for half price of our tree picking cost.
We have a fresh batch of sweet cider, and a new delivery of raw local honey. We also have cheese, fudge, apple and pumpkin butter, dry beans, maple syrup and products, jams and jellies, and a whole lot more.
